Ball a huge success, Director of Ball, Jeanne Sain, 

did long distance planning

 from her new home in South Dakota. 

Without the help of many people the

magic of Saturday night's Fantasy

would not have been possible.

 for making us welcome and providing us

with a beautiful venue.

On a very cold night, we gave our

members and guests a warm welcome to our

Island Paradise Fantasy.

Member applications for the 2010-2011 Krewe year are being accepted now on a first come, first serve basis.  Member cap will be 125.  Get your dues and application in ASAP!

On left side of this page is the index for website, go to Member Application and print it out,

 then mail in with your dues.

Please note, Krewe year will run this season from May 1 2010- March 31 2011

Thereafter it will run from April 1 - March 31.

New this year! A member may purchase a GUEST Membership.  A guest membership is a membership that does not have a name attached to it, so the member that bought it can bring anyone under that guest membership.  (Bring one friend to the ball and another friend to ride on the float)  They can bring whomever they want to member only functions under the guest membership

Mardi Gras Weekend 2011 is March 3-6

 in getting the Royal Treament!

We have 2 canoe trips on Village Creek planned.  First will be a Family Canoe Trip on August 28th.  Next will be an Adults Only Canoe Trip on September 25th.  You do not need to be a member to participate. Anyone that would like to do the Canoe Trips will need to get Renee a $20 per canoe deposit.  As of right now, trips will be $18. per person, that could go down the day of the trip depending on how many people sign up.  With 2 people per canoe the cost is $36., less $20. deposit - balance due on day of trip will be $16.  RSVP's and deposits for Aug. 28th trip need to be in to Renee by Aug. 13.  RSVP's and deposits for Sept. 25th trip need to be in to Renee by Sept. 10. 

Our Annual Membership Drive Party is slated for October 2nd at Dylans!  This is always a fun event to see everyone and catch up on the news, we encourage you to bring along someone who may be interested in joining our Krewe.  There will be light snacks and a cash bar.  We will be in the private room to the right of the front door. 

Changes to the Krewe fiscal year are as follows, April 1 through March 31.  Beginning in 2011, the Krewe year will end March 31 and the new Krewe year will begin April 1.

In appreciation for their many years of dedication to making our ball renowned as the BEST Ball of the Mardi Gras season.  For their support during Mardi Gras and contributions to the celebration of the season.  The Board of Directors gifted Bill & Tecoo Leger and Jay & Jennifer Bernard with honorary memberships for the 2010-2011 Krewe year.

 Yes! Already! We start work almost a year in advance

on our Ball & need to vote on the following year so that

it's in place right after our 2011 Ball. 2012 will be our

"fun" year. We alternate with a "fun" year & a "regal"

year. So think of something that is a "Fun Fantasy" &

write up a plan of decor & costume ideas. Email it to krewemonami94@yahoo.com

Michelle Savoie Hi everyone! Wanted to say "Thank you!" for the beautiful float named after my precious Auntie. I know she loved Krewe Mon Ami and cherished all the great times she had with you all. My grandmother, Kitty, was just overwhelmed with pride!!! Great job! Wish I could've been there to see it in person. God Bless You all!

Welcome Mon Ami`!

To the website for the Party Krewe of Southeast Texas.  Krewe Mon Ami was founded in 1994 and have been partying every since.  We are proud participants in Mardi Gras Southeast Texas.  Our Krewe has Krewe Nights regularly to get together, have fun and promote the spirit of Mardi Gras year round.  Our main events, of course, are the Fantasy Ball where we have our grand royalty presentation, held a few weeks prior to the big celebration on Proctor Street, and Mardi Gras weekend.  We have floats in the Krewe of Krewes Parade on Friday night, you can find us tailgating up on the seawall a few hours prior to parade start enjoying good food, good friends and refreshing beverages.  We also have floats with our generous sponsors in the Majestic Krewe of Aurora Parade and present our royalty to the public in the Royalty Walking Parade.  On Sunday we provide a float for our Krewe Kids to join in the fun. 

If you aren't partying with Krewe Mon Ami, you just aren't partying!
